"A converted Victorian home now a restaurant- cute and impressive. Designed well with all the little 'touches' adding so much of the charm to create the ambience - so darling. Now about the food, I can't wait to go back to try other dishes but I indulged into the eggs benedict with mushrooms and spinach. My friend loved the Chicken and waffle dish with gravy - a wonderful, delicious spluge! The Hollandaise sauce is perfect for the eggs benedict and the potatoes scrumptious! Yum!"

“You won't find better in PG”

"I've been trolling Pacific Grove for years. Truly my favorite city on the Monterey Peninsula. Stumbled upon Crema about three years back now. I'm a big time coffee snob, and seeing other reviews convinced me this place was worth a try. I've not had a trip to PG (and I go several times/year) since where the highlight of my visit hasn't been Crema. I go for the coffee, but stay for the great food and friendly service."

“Excellent for Brunch”

"Excellent food and very attentive staff. We came for crab Benedict, but we arrived later in the morning and it was already sold out. They have 5+ different Benedict's so we still had an excellent meal. The setting is an old converted house, so there are multiple different rooms. This is nice because it keeps the noise from large parties to a minimum and creates a more intimate atmosphere. Most weekend mornings there is a short wait (10-20 minutes) to be seated, but that is true in many of the popular places."

“Great Sunday morning breakfast!”

"My wife and I were in San Jose to see Adele on Sunday evening and wanted to drive to the coast for a quick breakfast and enjoy 17 mile drive. We wanted to see Pacific Grove and walked along the streets in search of a cafe for breakfast. The line outside Crema indicated we should stop and after a short 15 minute wait were were seated and enjoyed a great breakfast. Would eat here every weekend if we didn't live 3000 miles away. Try the waffles."

“A mothers day brunch to never forget”

"If you get the chance to visit this lovely place, please do! We went here for mothers day brunch and had the best time. Great bottomless mimosas in different flavors (orange, grapefruit, cranberry and peach) and a wide selection of breakfast and lunch food. Chicken and waffles were delicious and so were the crab cakes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is set in an old house so you really feel like you're having lunch in your own home. Would recommend to everyone!"

“High Quality Breakfast!”

"Wow, what an amazing breakfast my family and I had. We went to Carmel/Monterey for the weekend and I found this place on Tripadvisor so I had to give it a try. Adorable Victorian house with such an inviting atmosphere. We had the chicken and waffle and the biscuit and gravy....both were unbelievable. I cannot wait to visit this place again...wish we had one just like it where I live. Don't forget to try the Chai Lattte...one of the best I've had."
